S/ 4 – S/ 8
Tea bags filled with artisan-roasted cacao husk from our farm, ready for a quick infusion with no measuring or straining. Caffeine-free, no sugar, no additives — handy for the office, travel or everyday use.
What are cacao husk tea bags?
Cacao husk tea bags are tea-style filter bags filled with the exact amount of artisan-roasted, ground cacao husk from our farm in San José de Sisa, San Martín. They come ready to brew — no measuring or straining needed: just add hot water and wait a few minutes.
They are made from the same husk used in our loose cacao husk product, coming from the same artisan fermentation, sun-drying and controlled roasting process. The only difference is the format: pre-portioned, handy and easy to take anywhere.
What are cacao husk tea bags used for?
- Making a quick hot infusion at the office or while traveling
- A handy alternative to loose cacao husk, with no strainer needed
- Offering a caffeine-free option at hotels, restaurants and cafés
- Giving as a practical, healthy corporate gift
- Combining with other infusions (mint, ginger, cinnamon) by steeping the bag alongside the herb
- Use in catering and events where a quick, clean preparation is needed
How to brew a cacao husk tea bag
Place one tea bag in a cup and pour hot water at 90-95°C, just off the boil. Steep for 4 to 6 minutes depending on the strength you want, remove the bag and serve. Sweeten with honey or raw sugar if desired, or add a cinnamon stick while steeping to enhance the aroma. For a cold version, steep the bag in cold water in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours.

Tea bags vs loose cacao husk
The difference between cacao husk tea bags and loose cacao husk is only the format: the tea bag comes individually portioned, ready to brew with no measuring or straining — ideal for anyone looking for speed and convenience. Loose husk, on the other hand, lets you adjust the quantity to taste and is more economical per gram for brewing at home at a relaxed pace. Both products come from the same artisan roasting process at our farm.
